There are few things more derailing to a healthy diet than ice cream. But given how delicious it is, we shouldn’t have to give it up completely. So, I’ve come up with quite the amazing alternative: vegan chocolate banana ice cream. And, it’s made with all natural ingredients that you probably already have. So simple.
Vegan Chocolate Banana Ice Cream Recipe Ingredients (makes 1 serving):
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 2 dates
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- Handful of ice cubes
Directions: Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix on high until completely blended. Stir occasionally if needed. Top with strawberries and cacao nibs if desired and eat immediately.
