Tipsy Tuesday: Haute + Healthy Watermelon Basil Cooler.

We love coming up with healthy recipes using fresh, wholesome foods, and our favorite fruits and vegetables. For a truly refreshing and delicious summer cocktail our go-to ingredient is watermelon. This fruit evokes memories of summer’s past, riding bikes all day in the sun, catching fireflies at night, and sticky watermelon juice running down your arm as you eat it in the grass.

For summer’s present, our light and delicious Watermelon Basil Cooler is just the thing to cool you off in the sweltering sun. Here is how we celebrate and relax at the end of the day, with our haute, hydrating and healthy summer concoction:

Haute + Healthy watermelon basil cooler

Haute + Healthy Watermelon Basil Cooler Ingredients:

  • 1 cup watermelon
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1/2 packet Truvia
  • Soda water
  • Basil

Directions: Puree 1 cup fresh watermelon, shake in mixer with one shot vodka + 1/2 packet of Truvia, add a splash of soda water, garnish with basil.
