Two and a half years after the birth of my green smoothie obsession, I have probably made at least 4 green smoothies a week. At this point, I am hard pressed to produce a green smoothie that I have never made before. Today though, I whipped up something new. I always have my tried-and-true favorites, but this one was surprisingly good considering the mishmash of ingredients!
Haute + Healthy Cool Cucumber Green Smoothie Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups spinach leaves
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1/2 banana (frozen or unfrozen)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup cucumber, sliced or chopped
- 1/4 cup avocado, chopped
- 5 medium to large strawberries
- Large handful of ice
Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for approximately 3 minutes, until the consistency is smooth. Add more ice as needed. Enjoy!
