There’s no better way to upgrade your breakfast than starting your day with a glassful of this green goodness that I refer to as my Glamorous Green Smoothie. There are a multitude of iterations on this drink, but this is my go-to version. I make this almost every morning and to my delight it can be whipped up in under 5 minutes with ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. Despite its low calorie-count it never fails to keep me full until lunch. So go ahead and make your own!
Haute + Healthy Glamorous Green Smoothie Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups spinach leaves
- 1/2 banana (frozen or unfrozen)
- 1/3 cup carrots
- 1/3 cup mixed fruit (frozen or unfrozen, berries work well)
- 1/4 cup avocado
- Squeeze of lemon
- Filtered water
- Ice
Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender and top with about 1 1/2 cups of filtered water and a large handful of ice. Blend on high for approximately 3-5 minutes, until the consistency is smooth. Add more ice or water as needed. TIP: The longer you blend, the fluffier the consistency will be, making it even more filling. Pour into a fancy wine glass {because you’re stylish like that} and enjoy!

i made something similar yesterday, but with avocado, banana and kiwi. it was yummy and filling. this looks good!
I have never tried kiwi in my smoothie, but that sounds great mixed with the banana and avocado, I’ll have to try.
